The Australasian Society of Breast Physicians

We are registered medical practitioners working in Australia and New Zealand. Breast Physicians have specialised training in the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant breast disease.

The Australasian Society of Breast Physicians (ASBP) was first formed in 1990 and has specific membership and skill categories.

Our members work only in dedicated breast clinics with other breast specialists who follow the multidisciplinary philosophy, which ensures the best outcomes for women.

There is now a network of breast physicians throughout Australia and New Zealand who are involved in breast screening clinics or breast diagnostic centres. Many are clinical directors or program managers of screening programmes.
